My cozy violin workshop is located at Möhrendorf, in the heart of Franconia, northern Bavaria. It is in the rear annex of my house, surrounded by a romantically wild garden, right next to a luxuriant walnut tree. A large main area and two smaller rooms provide plenty of room to work. Ample daylight enters into the rooms through the many windows, providing perfect conditions for performing intricate and detailed work. A comfortable workshop is important to me, after all this is where I spend much of my time making my instruments.
